How did this rumor started? Or is it really just a rumor or it could be a fact?
With the knowledge of my professor, he shared us some knowledge he knew. And one of this is about why does Hitler issued to be a son of Rizal.
This rumor was started because of the entries in the diary of Maximo Viola. He is the companion of Jose Rizal in his journey in Europe. He was also able to finance the printing of the novel of Rizal, the Noli.
From Viola's diary, he mentioned that Jose Rizal and Karla Polzl (correct me with the spelling), mother of Adolf Hitler, really knew each other. How was so? Rizal stayed in a hotel in Germany. And the time he left the hotel, he also forgot his gold pin. This gold pin indicates that Jose Rizal is an illustrado from the country he came from.
Karla Polzl is a chamber maid of the hotel where Rizal left the pin. He met Rizal when she had returned the pin to him and of coarse, with the characteristics of Rizal, he fell in love with the lady.
The issue was suspected to be a rumor for some says that during the time Karla is getting pregnant with Adolf Hitler, Rizal was flirting a girl in Paris whom he almost got a fight with Antonio Luna because of that Parisian lady. To remind you, Paris and Germany are connected with a train during that time, so could they have met somewhere and were able to make love?
Other factors that remain for the others to say that Adolf Hitler is really a son of Jose Rizal are as follows:
FIRST, how come that Hitler will be able to have a black color of eye if his real parent are both Germans. It should be green I guess but not black.
And SECOND, like Jose Rizal, Adolf Hitler is closer to his mother than to his father to the point that he almost committed a suicide when his mother die.
This blog does not say that I beleive that Hitler is a son of Rizal. But we should not close our mind to every possibility in anything that might happen. Things that might change the history.
